Letter Activities/Skills:
- Letter recognition: students pull apples from the basket to cover the letters on the tree
- Capital/lowercase sort: students grab apples from the tree and sort into baskets
- Letter building: students build the letters using apples
Number Activities/Skills:
- Number recognition: students cover the number in the tree using apples from the basket – apples show different variations of the number (dice, fingers, number)
- Counting: students grab apples from the tree and place the correct amount in the basket
- Ten-frames: students pull apples from the tree into the ten-frame
