3. 100th Day Gumball Craft
This Gumball Craft is the perfect easy-to-prep activity and is super fun to make!
Your preschoolers will enjoy counting to 100 as they fill in their gumball machine.
Use cereal, dot painters, stickers, tissue paper, pom poms, or anything else to decorate.
Cover your tables with butcher paper to reduce mess and make cleanup time a breeze! Lay out your supplies and a blank craft page for each student, and let them work independently to fill all 100 spots in their gumball machine.
While completing this hands-on craft, little learners will also practice fine motor skills like pincer grasp and gluing, social skills like sharing, and following directions— all super-needed skills for Pre-K and kindergarten!
Sit back and watch each student’s creativity POP with this fun craftivity!

5. 100th Day of School Snack
Create a cute (and yummy!) themed snack for morning or end-of-the-day snacktime.
Use vanilla wafers and fudge stripe cookies to make this 100-themed snack.
Demonstrate the correct order of the cookies on your plate to make the number 100, and encourage students to imitate you to make their own 100!
When everyone’s finished eating, take a poll to see which cookie was the favorite. Create a graph on poster paper to practice counting and comparing numbers.

Themed Books
Read about the 100th Day of Pre-K with your class.
Are you familiar with Natasha Wing’s well known book The Night Before the First Day of Preschool? Well, she created another super cute one to read about The Night Before the 100th Day of School!
This is such a fun way to end the 99th day of school and prepare your little ones for all the fun that’s sure to come the next day.
100 School Days by Anne Rockwell is another favorite to have in your classroom library for this special day. In this book, students in Mrs. Madoff’s class count pennies for each day of school. It’s a great way to help little ones increase awareness of 10s.
Your kids will also be eager to see what happens when Mrs. Madoff’s class makes it all the way to the 100th Day of School (and 100 pennies!).
100th Day Songs
Add a little more movement fun with these songs!
Little ones learn all about the number 100 with this fun 100th Days of School Song by Scratch Garden!
Practice counting to 100 with this slower-paced 100th Days of School Song by The Learning Station. Don’t worry, just because it’s slower doesn’t mean your kids still won’t have tons of fun!
Dress Up
Encourage little ones to dress up like they’re 100 days old! Your day will be nothing short of giggles and smiles as students see each other looking old.
Have a few extra “100-year-old” supplies on hand in your classroom for any little ones who arrive not dressed up.
These are my most favorite ways to celebrate the 100th Day of School in Pre-K! What other activities do you love to celebrate this special day with your students? Send me a DM on IG to let me know. I’d love to try them next year!
